Perform Rescue from a Live LV Panel and CPR 

The Skill Set (Perform Rescue From a Live LV Panel and CPR) covers the performance of rescue procedures from live Low Voltage (LV) apparatus, not including overhead lines and underground cables in the workplace and includes the below units of competency: 

  • HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
  • UETDRRF004 Perform rescue from a live LV panel 

This course includes responsibilities for health, safety and risk management processes at all operative levels, adherence to safety practices and how to provide CPR to a non-responsive casualty.

 Annual refreshing of this Skill Set meets the requirements of Section 28 of the Electrical Safety Regulation 2013.

 Please note:

  • Candidates MUST be able to perform at least 2 minutes of uninterrupted single rescuer cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) (5 cycles of both compressions and ventilations) on an adult resuscitation manikin placed on the floor.
  • The unit of competency UETDRRF004 Perform rescue from a live LV panel cannot be undertaken without successful completion of its prerequisite unit HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation

 You can complete your LVR / CPR course with Narbil Training; upon successful completion Narbil Training will issued the following Statement of Attainment:

 Duration: 5 hours – Training & Assessment

 This course is a nationally recognised competency
